It all started with a towel.

In 2019 Hannah tore her ACL and MCL in her left knee. During recovery she noticed, from years of straightening, how damaged her natural wavy hair was.

Research shows hair is less damaged and shiner, if you dry your hair with a microfiber towel.

While trying to shop for a large hair towel, Hannah saw a gap in the market for styling accessories designed to improve the health of your hair. She sourced large, patterned, microfiber hair towels and started her first business 'RICKRACK.'

Pressure from hair ties applied to your hair follicles can lead to breakage and even hair loss, especially if your hair is dry or damaged.

Along with damaged hair, Hannah noticed tight ponytails and high buns had started to give her headaches.

She looked for new ways to keep her hair out of her face - key whilst walking with crutches. But struggled to find well-made and comfortable headbands.

She had found her next product.

Hannah sourced a flexible headband that can be stretched into a larger size and began making and selling handmade hair accessories.

Hannah designs a full range of headbands, alicebands, hair claws and hair bows. While the brand has continued to grow, production continues to be made in Surrey since 2019.
